If you are leaving for this destination and have not yet decided where to stay, here are some tips on where to sleep in Verona and the best neighborhoods.

Useful tips: the best neighborhoods to stay in Verona

//wheretosleepinverona Although it is more expensive, the historic center remains the most convenient choice due to its proximity to the main attractions. Neighborhoods such as San Zeno, Borgo Treno and Valdonega are slightly off-center (but the center is still within walking distance) but have less expensive accommodation and more parking space.
These areas are also very quiet and peaceful in the evening, so they are ideal for those traveling with children. However, if you want to enjoy an aperitif in the center or a special evening, a 10/15 minute walk is enough to be catapulted into the nightlife.

  • Recommended areas to stay on a budget: Borgo Trento and Valdonega, residential areas mostly inhabited by locals
  • Recommended areas for families with children: San Zeno, a quiet area with all kinds of services, and Città Antica and Cittadella, a central district full of services and ideal for those who do not like very crowded areas.
  • Recommended areas for young people: Veronetta, the students district, is perfect for those in search of non-stereotypical nightlife and night-time energy
